A spacious, conservativly furnished dining area framed by energetic wall murials and framed art. I am a vegetarian for the last 2/3 of my life and I am always excited when I find a vegan/vegetarian restaurant. The simple fact that I don't have to search for a vegetarian dish or have to ask for the ommitance of animal parts always makes me giddy. This menu had me salvating and it took me a while to work through the descriptions. I ordered a Philly Cheese Steak because for the last ~25 years I was wondering what that might be and taste like. I cannot tell if this was a good representation of the carnivorous version, but this sandwich came on a soft roll with a soft crust, was cheesy (vegan), wonderfully messy, fully flavored and contained some sauted onions and a thinly sliced meat surrogate. The side of deep fried oyster mushrooms was crispy, tasty but next time I will get two portions to be more satisfying than the 4 bites that I got out of the side of mushrooms.

Got to try The Bark for the first time and was definitely not disappointed! Super friendly staff, and the food and drinks were outstanding!! I highly recommend the fried oyster mushrooms. Bag hooks and outlets at the bar seats are a huge plus! Going back to check out one of their legendary music shows too. Friendly people, amazing food and cool vibes, this place is 5 stars all the way. ⭐️

whenever i come here, the food is amazing. we really love the cheese fries and fried chikin sandwich. i think even for non vegans, you can really enjoy the food. i do think it is a bit pricey for the portions, as the main meals don’t come with sides. however it is pretty good and homemade so it’s worth it. as for the atmosphere and setting, the area is a bit shady and the parking is horrendous. additionally, i would argue that the inside needs a makeover. a lot of the booths are cracked and uncomfortable and sometimes the tables aren’t clean. i am also not a fan of the bathroom and how the toilets have sharpie written inside them (??) you also have to bus your own tables which is interesting.

Great Spot For Vegans & Vegetarians Loved Everything The food was very good despite it being different.. I'm not a vegan. The drinks were great, the service was good, the cashier was perfect.. loved her, the atmosphere was great- very beautiful and unique, the restrooms were clean and the parking is pretty good. We will definitely return to try out some more options.

Good spot overall, especially with most of the menu being vegan. Food was solid, with some items better than others. Went ham trying the brunch menu. I do think they should make some items available all the time. Grit cakes are unique, very good. Breakfast burrito: 8/10 Seitan sausage: 9/10 Tempeh bacon: 6/10 Tofu scramble: 6/10 under-seasoned Roasted potatoes: 7/10 Biscuit: 9/10 Gravy: 6/10 Grit cakes: 9/10
